Ensemble first
We value the shared practice of making: artists, collaborators and audiences in conversation.
About Liverpool Ensemble
Making theatre together, in Liverpool.
Liverpool Ensemble is a theatre company rooted in the city: a place for artists and audiences to gather around bold ideas, shared stories and live performance.
Our story
We are building an ensemble-led company where collaboration sits at the centre of the work. We make space for new voices, unexpected encounters and theatre that feels immediate.
Liverpool is our home and our starting point. Its character, communities and creative energy shape the conversations we bring to the stage.
What we believe
Theatre is at its best when it is generous, curious and made with people—not simply for them.
Open-hearted work
We seek stories that invite reflection, spark imagination and leave room for many perspectives.
Made in Liverpool
We are committed to creating work with a strong sense of place and a welcome for everyone.
The people behind the work
Liverpool Ensemble is shaped by a growing community of theatre makers, producers, performers and collaborators. More about the people and projects behind the company will be shared soon.
